Welcome to the Gateway Gazette
Hey Gateway Herd!
This is our first newsletter of many. We are putting out new specials, collabs, and deals every single month, and we realized that sometimes a lot of the herd doesn't know about them.
This is going to be the hub for everything new at Gateway Subs each month! Here you will find information on our new sub specials, limited-edition collabs, our rotational cheesecake flavor, and our rotational coffee bean.
You will also find important information on any promotions or deals we are running, changes (or lack thereof) in our hours of operation, and updates from our friends in the community.
We hope to grow this newsletter into something that our whole community looks forward to each month.

September Sub Special: The MANA Witch Doctor
The MANA Witch Doctor ($9 half / $15.50 whole)
Buffalo chicken breast, provolone, lettuce, banana and hot peppers, chipotle mayo, spicy ranch, and crushed up Voodoo chips.
Halloween came early this year, with only treats (no tricks!). We created this one with our friends at MANA Chiropractic and we could not be more excited about it. There is a slight spicy tang that comes through in the crunch of the Voodoo chips, and a freshness to balance it out with the lettuce and peppers.
If the Cool Ranch Rider is your usual order, this one is right up your alley!

September Breakfast Special: CT's Protein Popper
CT's Protein Popper ($5.55)
Egg patties, sausage, and provolone.
Gluten free and protein packed. 30 grams of protein in a breakfast you can eat with one hand on the way to the gym or the office.
We made this one with our friends at DOLDORA, and if you are trying to start your day with something that actually holds you over, this is it. (For our protein maxxers, make sure to grab 2!)
Cheesecake of the Month: Coconut
Summer isn't over just yet! Baked in house, just like everything from our Gateway Bakery! Creamy coconut cheese filling on a graham cracker crust with coconut flakes on top.
Grab a slice with lunch, or take a whole cake home for the family. This flavor is here for September only, so do not wait too long on it!
Now Pouring: Costa Rica, Central Valley
Our rotational beans this month come from the Central Valley of Costa Rica, part of the Cafe Vida program, grown between 1,200 and 1,800 meters and washed the traditional Costa Rican way.
In the cup you get toasted pecan and green tea, with a mild tartness and a sweetness that is almost candy like. Balanced, clean, and easy to drink all day long.
We serve it hot, and we serve it cold using a Kyoto slow drip tower. Cold water drips over the grounds one drop at a time for hours, which pulls out all of the sweetness and none of the bitterness. It makes the smoothest cold brew you will find around here (with some of the best prices, too.)

Birria Bros Chopped Cheese

Our collab with Mo from Birria Bros is back! Comes with bro's signature beef seasoning, melted provolone cheese, sweet pepper, lettuce, tomato, onion, and chipotle mayo. We also highly recommend adding a bag of crushed-up jalapeño chips for that perfect spicy crunch!
