Working away on the checklist for the Open House this Sunday! Puppy Treats were one item on today's list. My favorite story is when I heard that a friend's dog refused chicken, only wanting these puppy treats 🐾❤️

I will continue working away on the prep list. You...Mark down 11:00 - 1:00 this Sunday, 10/18. I will have Puppy Treats and so much more. Plus, I am donating 25% of all sales to Second Harvest Heartland ! Bonus, all attendees will be entered to win a custom seasonal bake!

Working on a new batch of Hot Chocolate Mix today. Sounds like after this weekend in MN (80's in mid-October...ok?)...we are headed for some chilly weather. This will be the perfect way to warm up.

I will have some Hot Chocolate Bundles ready for my Open House too! Mark down Sunday,October 18th from 11 a.m. - 1:00 p.m.

October days...I am still harvesting so many tomatoes and peppers daily while slowly accumulating all the winter squash. Baking is always in the mix, including these October Bundles that were delivered to my CSB members today!

* Monastery Oatmeal Loaf...all the Oats & Whole Wheat Flour from Whole Grain Milling to make this simple sandwich loaf. Oh, some MN Honey too from Park Rapids!

* French Apple Cake...a little bit of batter holding together all the Minnesota Apples. This is MN fall...

* Pumpkin Spice Jammers & Tomato Jam Thumbprints...my first pumpkin bake of the season and slowly wrapping up all things Tomato.

And now we can say...Hello Autumn...

The sedum shines, the goldenrod turns from gold to fluff, the winter squash finally are ready for harvest and my gardens continue to grow, teach and bring me calm daily. Thankful for the seasons and the joy they bring.

Please join me to celebrate 9 Years of Earthtani CSB and to say Thank You for all your support of my tiny business. I will have some sweet & savory bites to enjoy and I will also have a few items available for purchase...including my homemade Jams (there was a lot of jammin’ this summer!)

Bonus…25% of all sales will be donated to Second Harvest Heartland! For every dollar donated to Second Harvest Heartland, they are able to provide three meals to those in need in our community. Giving back has always been an important part of this tiny business.

Thanksgiving menus will also be ready, because pre-planning is a must for me. And, every Pop-Up participant will also be put in a drawing for a custom seasonal bake...it will be seasonal, it will be delicious, it might be yours!

This little 7" cake went out the door this weekend. I happen to know that it was for a birthday celebration...I hope they had a great day!

This was my classic Chocolate Devil's Food Cake with Cream Cheese Frosting. I am always taking special orders for cakes, pies, cookies...all the things Simple, Seasonal & Sweet. My menus are posted on my website with lots of Seasonal options.

I think for Labor Day weekend I labored...

Applesauce & Pear-Applesauce canned today plus an almost ready batch of tomato paste. Roasted Tomatoes & Marinara Sauce canned too and a batch of jam.

We also spent time with friends yesterday with some lovely brunch eats and a few games of BananaGrams Marianna Moss Jeremy Johnson

Oh, and we finally had rain! 🌧☔️💧

A day early, but September bundles have dropped for my Toni S Luschen members! Keeping the flavors simple and following what the garden hands me...

* Tomato Basil Loaf...so many garden tomatoes and the basil is loving life in the shade of the tomato plants. So much flavor in this loaf!

* Plum-Raspberry Oat Crumb Tart...I was gifted plums from my sister-in-law in Lakeville and the Fall Raspberries are coming in strong (I harvested almost a gallon today 😳)...MN Oats too!

* Rosemary Cornmeal Shortbread...Rosemary is made for sweets and you know I love the Cornmeal from Whole Grain Milling ...Shortbread once again is the perfect place to showcase them

All of these will be available on my September menu. I will drop that tomorrow over on my website...

When you find a little joy in your mailbox...

This little baggie of False Indigo seeds & a note were tucked in our mailbox on Monday morning...this is community

This morning when I was watering the gardens this neighbor was walking by with her pup (Bama) and said the seeds were from her and her yard...this is community

We chatted for a bit, I thanked her for the seeds, connection...this is community

Over the past few months I have thinking a lot about connecting more with our community and how to grow community...tricky for this highly introverted introvert

And, on my mind for more than a few months...wanting to teach some baking classes and what those would look like
