Pearl & The Oysters' new track "Mandarin Moon" was released into the world earlier this week ahead of their Monkey Mind Album, releasing June 26.

Formed in Paris and now based in Los Angeles, the duo Pearl & The Oysters (Juju and Jojo) channel the sunny-yet-layered energy of their adopted home into their unique lounge-pop sound.
Their new album, Monkey Mind, was written in a matter of weeks after the devastating January 2025 LA wildfires triggered intense ecological anxiety for the pair. Produced by Jonathan Rado and recorded live to tape with a tight-knit community of local musicians, the project embraces a cynical "LA pessimism" while ultimately transforming disaster and restlessness into a source of human connection.
