The ovens are off. The lines are gone. The last turkey leg has left the building. And somehow, 12 days went by in about five minutes.

What you see on social media is only a tiny piece of what happens here.

Behind every sandwich handed through that window are people who worked incredibly long days. Farmers who raised the turkey. A crew that showed up and absolutely crushed it. Partners who believed in what we were doing.

Mike & Kat’s Other Place keeping everyone caffeinated and hydrated. And thousands and thousands of you who made Turkey To Go part of your State Fair.

Some of you have been coming here for years.

Some of you found us for the first time because a ridiculous turkey video showed up on your phone.

Some of you came back three times. 😂

However you found us, you became part of this year with us.

We laughed a LOT. We served an unbelievable amount of turkey. We met some incredible people. We made some memories we’ll be talking about long after the fairgrounds are empty.

And now, we get to say the three words that felt impossibly far away 12 days ago:

We did it.

Thank you to every farmer, partner, crew member, friend, fan, fairgoer and fellow vendor who was part of this one.

What a freaking year.

And that is what happens when you ask the seniors to “film your best product.” 😂🦃

It’s officially the LAST DAY of the Minnesota State Fair, and apparently we’ve completely lost control of the content.

Huge thanks to our crew for keeping the turkey hot, the lines moving, and us laughing for 12 straight days.

One more day. One more turkey leg. One more juicy turkey sandwich. Plus all the refreshing beverages.

Minnesota, come finish this thing with us. 🦃🔥

Okay, Minnesota. One last time. 🦃

For the last 11 days, you've lined up, brought your families, sent your friends, tagged us, made us laugh, supported Minnesota farmers and eaten an absolutely unreasonable amount of turkey.

And somehow, we're still here.

So today we're doing what we do best.

Juicy turkey sandwiches. Giant turkey legs. Cranberry Mint, Strawberry Mint + Mint Lemonade. Nitro Brew. Three lines moving fast.

This is your last Turkey To Go run of the 2026 Minnesota State Fair.

Come get the thing you've been thinking about.

Come back for the thing you already had twice.

Or come find out why everyone keeps walking around the Fair holding a turkey leg the size of their forearm.

And before we get after it, we want to wish every single vendor out here one hell of a final day.

We may serve different food.
We may work different booths.
But for these 12 days, we’re all in this together.

Behind every stand is a crew that showed up early, stayed late, worked through the rush and gave everything they had to make this place something Minnesota looks forward to all year.
And to every fairgoer who showed up for all of us, thank you.

Now there’s only one thing left to do.

Minnesota, let’s finish this thing. 🦃

Still not over this one. 🦃

Of all the people we’ve had stop by Turkey To Go this year, having José Andrés come through was pretty surreal.

An incredible chef, humanitarian, and someone who understands the power of food to bring people together, standing right here at our little corner of the Minnesota State Fair.

Yeah… we’re going to be talking about this one for a while. ❤️

People who got the giant turkey leg.

And people who watched someone walk by with one and immediately regretted their choices. 🦃

Juicy, baked (never fried), and one of those foods you just have to experience at least once.

When a world-renowned chef stops by… you pay attention. 👀🦃

We had the absolute honor of welcoming Chef José Andrés to Turkey To Go at the Minnesota State Fair!

José is an internationally celebrated chef, restaurateur, multiple James Beard Award winner, educator, and the founder of World Central Kitchen, an organization that has provided meals to communities impacted by disasters and humanitarian crises around the world.

To have someone who has dedicated so much of his life to food, hospitality and feeding others stop by our little corner of the Great Minnesota Get-Together was pretty special.

José, thank you for visiting us. We hope you enjoyed a taste of Minnesota. ❤️

We've gotten so many questions about our turkey, where it comes from, whether it's deep fried (nope, it's baked 👀), gluten-free options, and a little history about our legacy booth.

So our social girl Maddie is answering them all here.

From the turkey we serve to the ingredients we choose, there's a lot that goes into what we're serving at Turkey To Go, and we're proud of it.
