We’d love to see you, say farewell, give thanks, and have a fun time celebrating all that has made Swede Hollow Cafe so special all these years. Dear Swede Hollow Cafe Family,

We have some exciting news to share about the future of Swede Hollow Cafe!

After 29 wonderful years at 725 East 7th Street, we are CLOSING our physical doors on August 31st, 2026!

We want to say a massive, heartfelt THANK YOU to our amazing customers, neighbors, friends, family, staff and the entire East Side community. You have filled our space with so much love and support for nearly three decades, and we are incredibly grateful for every memory shared here. As for the last few years specifically, the adversities we’ve all faced has shown true grit, strength, survival and resilience and we are eternally honored to have been able to share in your light during this time.

While it is bittersweet to leave, we are so excited for this next journey. It is our hope to pursue more mobile ventures bringing our signature coffee, drinks, breakfast, and lunch favorites directly to you through pop-ups, community events, and caterings. In essence, the spirit of Swede Hollow will continue to live on albeit in dynamic new directions.

Before we move, we also want to celebrate the journey with the people who made it possible. Please join us for a Goodbye & Customer Appreciation during our last weekend in the cafe on Saturday, August 29th and Sunday, August 30th.

Stop by to grab some gear, redeem your remaining gift cards, enjoy your favorite treats, and let us thank you in person. We can’t wait to see you at the party!
