This Wednesday August 28th 5pm-9pm Picnic Linden Hills will be hosting an event to help us bounce back from the devastating electrical fire that claimed Khue's Kitchen weeks before it was slated to open. We had no investors, put all of our hard earned savings up, and spent months with the help of family cleaning and rehabilitating the old Ngon Bistro's space only to have all of the time, effort and care burn to the ground. We will be using the funds from the event to compensate our staff, many of whom left jobs to join us in bringing our vision to the community, as well as get back on track to finding a new space to be the home of our vision. Thank you to Picnic for helping us on our journey of getting back up and are putting out a call for help to our community and anyone who is able to contribute in any way. We are still accepting donations for the silent auction as well as support in any way you can. 100% of all donations will go directly to our GoFundMe. It is with a heavy heart to inform you all that Khue’s Kitchen in St. Paul will not be opening in the near future. On Sunday, August 11th, an electrical fire stormed through our new tables and furnished bar. The fire traveled upstairs into our upper floor and became an uncontrollable inferno. By the time mom, dad, and I got to the restaurant, the ceilings in the dining room and kitchen gave way and there was nothing left to salvage.

I want to thank the St. Paul Fire Department as they tirelessly and courageously fought the fire, doing their best to save the building from collapsing entirely. We are extremely grateful no one sustained injuries throughout the fire’s destructive course.

With your support, I’d like to help my team, who spent countless hours creating a unique dining experience, and replace their personal tools and equipment that made these ideas a reality. I’m also looking to recoup a small portion of my investment to stay the course and hopefully realize this dream one day.

Happy New Year! This will be the last 2 weeks of Khue’s Kitchen at Bar Brava. What an incredible year it’s been. A huge thank you to the team at for taking a chance on Khue’s. And most importantly, thank you to everyone who came in and showed your support.

Khue’s Kitchen isn’t going anywhere. Be on the lookout for some exciting news soon!

Hello everyone, we're so excited to announce that Khue's Kitchen will be located at Bar Brava for the foreseeable future. The Grand Opening of Khue's Kitchen will be this Friday (12/9). Thank you to everyone for your support. I can't wait to serve you all this weekend!

To all the people who walked down the hallway that's a bit too long just to give some kid's Vietnamese cooking a chance, thank you. Special thanks to Dan and the team at Bar Brava for giving us the opportunity to have a level of hospitality we've always wanted to bring and to cook the food we've always dreamed of cooking. Can't wait to serve you guys what we've been working on these past few months.

Reservations are open from 5 to 9. We'll be taking walk-ins all morning from 11 to 4 and walk-ins at the bar for dinner service.
