It’s time for the Minnesota State Fair Kickoff to Summer!

Very excited for our 4th year serving up our handmade sambusas. Good food, music, a festive atmosphere, and hopefully lots of familiar faces.

We will be parked right next to our friends at Trickster Tacos LLC.

Hope all is well!

Lately, we’ve been reflecting a lot on this journey and what Sambusa Express has meant to us these past few years.

What started during COVID as a way to reconnect with community through a homemade delicacy we grew up loving… became something much bigger.

And this summer, we want to lean even more into that:
more connection, more storytelling, and more scratch-made food made with care.

And yes… we’ve been quietly working on a few new scratch-made menu items that we can’t wait to share with you this summer 👀🔥

We have to cancel our event tonight. The darn truck is FAILING us miserably!  This was the last event we ever wanted to cancel, being that it’s our last day for the year. We wanted to say goodbye for the year.  This trucking thiing SUCKS!
