This Ramadan, there are Muslim university students in the Twin Cities fasting while juggling classes, work, and life far from home. Many are immigrants/international students with no family nearby — and for some, iftar can mean eating alone or skipping meals.

A few local community members put together a private initiative to sponsor daily iftar for students across multiple universities — and we wanted to help amplify it.
