It's the weekend of the 4th. No Bingo tonight or Pulltab Horse Racing tomorrow at Willie's. We're open usual hours.

A full-service marina offering slip rentals, daily launch, gas, pumpout, inside and outside storage, and maintenance and repair. And, yes, Willie's Restaurant is there as well! But it has it's own FB page.

Willie's has no power, so we have no phone or AC. Xcel estimates 3 PM now. We're calling it a day and going home until the power is restored. If it comes back on, we'll let you know here.

I wanted to make a Memorial Day post, as I thought I decided best ask a Marine. I am honored to share Caleb's words.

Memorial Day is for remembering and honoring those that passed while serving our great country. Every Veteran had to think about the fact that when they first signed up to join the fighting forces of the United States Military they were offering their very life in the defense of the United States. I proudly served my beloved Marine Corps and the US Navy for a total of 20 years. I have lost friends from on active duty. They, as well as others are in my thoughts often and more so on Memorial Day. Please take a few quiet moments (usually at 3:00 PM) on Monday to think of our Veterans that have made the ultimate sacrifice.
