208 Talbot has been at the center of the culinary scene in Talbot County for 32 years. Chef David Clark has carried the mantle first established by Chef Paul Milne in 1990 for the last ten years. During this time, he not only paid homage to the heritage of 208, but also took the menu in new directions with his International inspiration, earning several accolades; his most significant being ranked #1 on Trip Advisor for St. Michaels these last eight years.
The eminent sale of the building, as well as the conclusion of the lease in April, signals it is time to move on to the next adventure. Chef David will focus on his stewardship of Legal Assets
Restaurant in Easton, lending his creative talent to the success and growth of this exciting new project.
208 Talbot will have its final dinner service Sunday, March 27th. Please take a moment this month to visit and enjoy a farewell dinner or chat with our crew over a cocktail at the bar. Share stories about celebrations, favorite meals, friends we have lost, and friends we have gained.
We have been incredibly blessed to be a part of so many special moments with you, our extended family. Your loyalty is without measure, as is our gratitude. Thank you for making this last decade so unforgettable...
And to the staff of 208 Talbot, thank you for making this journey possible. It certainly would never have happened without you, but its success is unquestionably because of you.
