Office & Customer Service Assistant

We’re looking for a friendly, dependable person to join the Sugar Creek Country Store team as an Office & Customer Service Assistant. This position is flexible as part-time or full-time.

This is a unique position for someone who enjoys variety. Part of the job will be helping with day-to-day office and administrative tasks, and part of the job will be working on the sales floor as a cashier and helping our customers.

Responsibilities include;
* Assist with general office work, paperwork, filing, data entry, and organization
* Help with invoices, records, reports, and other administrative projects
* Answer phones and assist with customer or vendor questions
* Help with special projects, events, and store operations
* Work at the front register and provide friendly, efficient customer service
* Help customers find products and answer questions
* Assist with stocking, straightening, and keeping the store looking its best
* Step in where needed during busy times

We’re looking for someone who is:
* Friendly and comfortable working with customers
* Organized and detail-oriented
* Dependable and able to follow through on tasks
* Comfortable using a computer and learning new programs
* Able to move between office work and customer service throughout the day
* Willing to learn and help wherever needed
* A good communicator who works well as part of a team

This could be a great fit for someone who enjoys both people and paperwork. We don’t expect you to sit behind a desk all day, and we don’t expect you to spend the entire day at a cash register. We’re looking for someone who enjoys having a variety of responsibilities and being an important part of the overall operation of the store.
