Temperatures across the state well into the 80s except for locations within 3 miles of each of the lakes. A couple spots near Grand Rapids and L'Anse in the UP may touch 90°F, shown in pink. Clouds to the south keeps things a touch cooler. Humidity values will be in the 30-50% range for much of the state until late, or for those who follow the dew points, mid-to-upper 50s. A touch on the muggy side, but at least no 70°F dew points. UV index will be in the 8-9 range today, so make sure to protect yourself from the sun. Burn time is under 20 minutes for a UV this high. Over 15 hours of daylight to enjoy today, spend them wisely, and as always, be safe out there. Heading to the lake? Monitor your local water conditions, and don't become a statistic.
