A Bit About the Bridge

The Bridge of Saint Joe is a casual summer, Sunday morning gathering of music and inspiration at Schu’s restaurant on the corner of Lake Boulevard and Pleasant Street in downtown St. Joseph, Michigan. The Bridge worships June through Labor Day at one of St Joe’s most iconic restaurants overlooking Lake Bluff Park and Lake Michigan. The Bridge is part of the Evangelical Covenant Church family and led by Jim Kramer and Joel Kruggel, both pastors in the Covenant Church. If you are visiting St Joe for the weekend or an area resident looking for a place to help you build bridges to God and to others in our community, you are welcome at The Bridge. In addition to music and inspiration, weekly worship includes stories from area ministries that are making a difference in our community. The Bridge has no overhead and no salaried pastors. Each Sunday’s giving is designated fully to ministries in the St Joseph and Benton Harbor area. We hope you will join us some summer Sunday summer at Schu’s. There will always be coffee and muffins and a warm welcome for you at the Bridge. From September through May, the Bridge sponsors a weekly video devotional as well as special music events at Schu’s in connection with downtown St. Joe happenings such as: the luminary festival, light the bluff, and other special occasions.
