& the Cucumber Caipirinha feels just right for the occasion!! Made with cucumber infused cachaça, muddled lime & sugar. Cachaça is Brazil’s national distilled spirit, made from fresh pressed sugarcane juice, with grassy, vegetal & earthy notes.

Our love behind MN Maque Choux 🤍

Maque choux is a Louisiana dish with roots in Cajun & Native American foodways. When Chef Matéo talked about it with MPR in 2023, he described it as the kind of dish made in the morning to sustain the people coming home from a long day of working & harvesting.

Sweet corn, onion, garlic, shiitake mushrooms from Forest Mushrooms, Inc. , poblano, red & green bell peppers, creole seasoning & cream, with toasted baguette from Flour & Flower

We’re so grateful for the opportunity to have brought the Solar-Farm-to-Table Sampler to life in NYC this past week, turning an incredible collection of ingredients into a meal with a story to tell.

Every bite featured ingredients grown, grazed, or gathered on working solar farms: lamb & beef raised under panels in Tennessee & Indiana, vanilla from Hawaiʻi, saffron from Vermont, chiltepín peppers from Arizona, and potatoes, vegetables, herbs, & honey from solar farms across Colorado, New Jersey, & Minnesota.

What an incredible way to celebrate the farmers, producers, & communities finding new ways to grow both food and energy. We couldn’t have been happier to bring along George Vedder & Menchamo Drislane for the ride. Thank you both for sharing your talent, creativity, & heart with us.
