A Little Dixie’s Drinks Update 💙
I’ve got a little bit of a bittersweet announcement to make.
After this fall season, the Dixie’s Drinks trailer will be going up for sale.
This definitely wasn’t how I pictured things going when we started this whole crazy adventure 3½ years ago. We had a successful shop, we had big plans, and we were working toward eventually having a drive-through location. We were actually pretty far along in making that happen before negotiations with our landlords fell apart because of some decisions on their end that ultimately put us in a really difficult position.
Since then, a lot has changed for us. I’ve taken on a full-time job, and with my oldest getting ready to start senior year and then heading into the whole college chapter, I’ve had to really look at what I realistically have the time and energy for.
And honestly, as much as I love Dixie’s Drinks, I think it’s time for me to make some changes.
But we aren’t done just yet! ❤️
We are still taking a limited number of private events this fall, so if you’re interested in having Dixie’s Drinks at your event, just reach out to me and we can see what we can work out.
And I really, really want to say THANK YOU.
Thank you to everyone who has supported us over the last 3½ years. Whether you came into the shop, found us at a pop-up, booked us for an event, shared a post, recommended us to someone, or just followed along with us through all of our changes — it has meant more to me than you probably realize.
This business has been a HUGE part of my life, and I’m incredibly thankful for all the people I’ve met because of it.
So for now, we’re going to enjoy this last fall season, make some more memories, and see what comes next. 💙
