It has been awhile and we wanted ask a few questions of our

Would you be interested in a fresh & healthy food cart with cool eats and treats? We see so many local food options now but are exploring a healthy menu (keto, vegetarian, vegan, paleo, gf, and sugar free options) for our next cart!

We would love to hear from our fans about healthy foods you would want to get locally for lunch or dinner. As always great taste will be on the menu as we have tested our newest menu items with rave reviews.

That said, we are turning a new leaf 🍃 and will be offering delicious vegan, keto, and paleo friendly options.

Local suppliers of fruits & veggies & honey (medium volume)

Also, Local businesses who would like to host us one day a week/biweekly. We would like to open 1-2 weekdays locally. We will be doing Saturday markets, festivals, and events throughout Oregon & Washington other days.

Happy Monday! What is happening with Chiquen-n-Bisquets, you ask?

We received a lot of questions about whether we will be reopening or relocating so here is the scoop!

I have tumors. As far as we know everything is benign but at least one of them is causing some serious issues. Sadly, there are a lot of delays and shortages with medical providers so it is taking more time than I anticipated when this all began. I am in the final stages of getting the surgery scheduled and there will be a bit of recovery time.

We sold the big cart and plan to open our VERY cool”Lil-Chiq-n-More” cart once I am well. We are not planning on being at a Food Cart Pod because we have learned along the way the limitations and cost prohibitive nature of the pods. They are very expensive and menus are locked. We plan on doing pop-ups, events and if local businesses would like to have us swing by for lunch, we are happy to oblige!

We will post an update once we have a date for our first pop-up (post inspection of the new cart)

And…remember that the new Food Cart Pod in Scappose looks like it will be offering some amazing food options.

Hello to all our wonderful fans!

We wanted to provide an update. Sadly, due to my ongoing health issues we will not be opening the cart this week as we hand off the cart to the new owners.

We will be back when I am recovered with our smaller cart “Lil Chiq-n-More”. We plan on working at events, Saturday Markets, and pop-ups in the community.

It has been an honor to serve this amazing community! We will be announcing more information about the new location and owners once they are ready.

We wanted to provide an update!

The cart has been sold to a wonderful local family who will be offering great food very soon!

We want to say say a final “See you soon 👋” to our fans this week and plan to open 1-2 days prior to the new owners moving the cart to a new location right here in St. Helens.

Stay tuned for our final days and times!
Remember, we will be back this summer with our mini cart “Lil’ Chiq-n-More” at events and Saturday/Farmer’s markets!

AMAZING FOOD CART FOR SALE – LESS THAN 2 YEARS OLD
We have made the difficult decision to sell our food cart due to some curveballs in our lives. I have an ongoing medical condition that will require additional surgery and downtime, and the inability to fully staff the cart has led to the sale.
This cart is an eye-catcher because it is Green instead of the standard Yellow/Red/White carts.
It is currently fully licensed in Columbia County, Oregon for 2024 TURNKEY - and can easily pass in other counties. It has add-ons that are not required but do help when traveling or parking in a pod.
This is a 16-foot food cart that was custom built as a food cart (not a home or garage conversion). It has 3 large sliding serving windows (fully screened) with pop-up serving ledges on each. Mini-Split AC/Heating Unit. It was not wrapped so only removal of decals will be needed to update the exterior graphics.
Great tires/frame/lights as it was only moved 2 times since the purchase, and we are happy to deliver the cart within 100 miles for free (over 100 miles would require a conversation about gas $$ but can be arranged).
On the inside is a beautiful set up that includes a propane steam table, 4 large propane burners, and a large 36” propane griddle that are built into the unit. We do not use the steam table or the griddle, so they are brand new. We covered the steam table with a butcher block as we did not need it and we used the griddle as a surface for our dual fryer under the hood. This set up was ideal for us but can be rearranged.
We have added commercial dual electric deep fryers, a commercial waffle iron, 2 Commercial Sybo pots, a ½ Deck Commercial Convection Oven, Large Fridge/Freezer (less than a year old, recently purchased brand new), dish straining rack and a baker’s rack.
The cart has large freshwater and wastewater tanks, over the required gallons in any county. The water pump for freshwater also has a switch on the wall so you can turn it off or on as needed, an electric hot water heater, and 4” hoses for wastewater disposal with a portable rolling wastewater tank when needed. The cart also has an internal grease trap which is required in some counties and at some food cart pods.
We have upgraded the cart since purchase including new faucets; the electrical system has 50 Amps on the box, but we also added a separate connection for an additional 30 Amps that is not on the box – this would require a location to have 2 plugs for you to use - 1 50-Amp and 1 30-Amp. This allows you to run more equipment in the cart when the juice is available for you to use; steam table drain system upgrade for new rules to drain into the wastewater tank and the hood drain is also installed on the exterior per the newer rules issued; secured Propane Cage
As far as the brand and the menu, I am willing to chat about what I will share. We have a smaller food cart that we would like to operate only in the Spring/Summer at a Saturday market this year. We have a solid following and people LOVE our food.
We are priced to sell and willing to entertain a financing option with a 50% downpayment for the right buyer. We want the new owners of this cart to have a wonderful and lucrative cart so we are happy to offer any help we can along the way. Let us know if you have any questions.
