Me here, taking a break from sharing cake photo after cake photo to share a personal post…..
My sweet boy starts school tomorrow, and WOW am I emotional.. I might also be a smidge emotional that tomorrow is my 38th birthday. 🥴

Sending your child off to school is hard enough, but sending your autistic child into a world that isn’t always built with them in mind comes with a whole different set of emotions. I’m excited for him, so proud of him, and also carrying all of those little worries that come with hoping he is understood, supported, and treated kindly.

He is such a special little boy, and I know he is capable of so much. Tomorrow is a huge step for him.. and for me.

So if I’m a little slower or quieter this week, just know I’m probably somewhere trying not to cry over my baby starting this new chapter. 🥹💙

Here’s to a really good first week. Please be kind to my boy, world.

So I should eat cake tomorrow and cry? Aren’t you allowed to “cry if you want to” 🙈 what flavor cake sounds best for your birthday? Help me decide!

& don’t worry, mom was taken care of too. She got 1 dozen fresh from oven cinnamon rolls (she loves my cream cheese cinnamon rolls)
We all know that hunger after babies! I’ll never forget it. I wanted food immediately after each kiddo!
What was your post-delivery meal that you HAD to have? I swore it would be Panda Express with my last little guy. I delivered in Cortlandt, NY so the closest Panda was in Yonkers.. I was devastated because I didn’t want my husband to leave but I really wanted him to leave for Panda. I settled for a cafeteria hamburger but it was the best hamburger ever according to after-delivery me 😆 let’s hear it, crazy & all!!
