So, I've got some interesting news. The place that brought us all together is trying to reopen, possibly by the end of this year. However, it will NOT be the St. Francis Brewery and Restaurant. They do not want any connection to SFBs past. Also, the "Brewery" part isn't going to happen. They are only going to operate as a restaurant. Finally, a familiar name (to the oldest of us here) is going to run the place. Derek Donaldson, SFBs first, and shortest-term GM has been hired to manage. Maybe the second time will be the charm?

With this news, I'm less inclined to patronize SFB with our reunion considering they want to erase all that we did.

Though I am still FB friends with many of you, there are others that aren't on my list, or that came after me. Please spread the word about this FB page to other SFB alums. Also, keep an eye on the reunion event. There may be a BIG surprise about it in the next couple months...

Hey! So I'll start the ball rolling. The question is: What have you been doing since you left SFB?

My answer: I took a job in Mississippi at a start-up production brewery. The business failed. Then I went to work for a BBQ restaurant/ brewery in Asheville, NC. I kinda hated working there, so I left and took some time off. Then COVID. Then, I was a FedEx driver for most of 2020. Landed a dream job managing and brewing for an established brewery headquartered in Charlotte. Our location is in Hendersonville which is the cutest Main St. America town you could ever find. Living in the West NC mountains with Kelley and Barley.
