The new space is really coming together in large part to these guys’ hard work. It feels like home. It’s only been a few months, but we’ve hit the ground running roasting for cafes, wholesale clients, and a boatload of fundraisers. THE ROASTER IS IN THE BUILDING. I repeat: the roaster is in the building.

We’ve been radio silent for a while, but wanted to jump on and post this big milestone! We’re THIS 🤌 close to roasting in our new space, and we’re so thankful.

We have so many people to shout-out, and a bunch of photo dumps of the buildout we’re eager to post. But for now we wanted to share the good news and give a big old THANK YOU to everyone who’s been involved getting this old antique store into a warm, airy coffee roastery.

Hi, we’re Fable. We’re the coffee roasting division of Kinder Coffee Lab We started roasting in a tiny backroom in 2020, shipping coffee out to people’s homes during the height of the pandemic. As we slowly gained our footing and the uncertainty of Covid slowly subsided, we moved our operation into the back of Kinder Coffee Lab and continued roasting—not just for coffee-loving individuals and online subscribers, but for coffee shops and businesses that were filling up with people again.

And now, a few years later, it’s time to move again! While our little, intimate spot in the back of Kinder has provided a fun bustle and energy (some would say “chaos”), we’ve outgrown the space.

So we’re moving. We found a building on 9th Ave, across from the Post Office, full of charm and history and… potential. Truthfully, it’s going to take a lot of work to make the space ours, but we’re excited for the challenge. We’ll still be roasting and releasing products as we build out the space (*cough*newlemonadecoffeeshandy!*cough*), but were excited to give you peeks into the new roastery along the way.
