Kay's Midtown Cafe will permanently close tomorrow, September 30th. Our lease on the space ends October 31st . We need this additional time to complete an auction of our equipment.

We want to thank all of our wonderful customers for their years of support. It was an honor to serve each and every one of you throughout the years. Regular customers definitely help set the tone of a restaurant, and each of our regulars have added to the amazing ambiance that was created.

We thank all of our staff that worked with us over the years. Without them, Kay's Midtown Café would not have been what it was. Staff interactions with customers and our regulars created another essential element of our ambiance.

It's a wonderful thing when the kitchen gets a ticket and all the server has to say, is it's for [customer's name] and the cooks know what is ordered without looking at the ticket. Our cooks also got in the habit of running food out to our customers and having a few seconds to interact with them as well.
