I honestly thought this rumor was put to rest years ago, back when I divorced my ex-wife, who chose to call herself “Lucy-fur.” Apparently, some people still believe these ridiculous stories and are not only avoiding the restaurant because of it, but also repeating and spreading the nonsense to others.

Let me be very clear: I am the owner of Phyre, and I am a God-loving, patriotic American. My faith, values, and morals are important to me.

If anyone has questions about me, my beliefs, or what Phyre stands for, I encourage you to come directly to me rather than spreading rumors and assumptions.

Phyre was built around good food, good people, and bringing our community together — not drama and made-up stories.
