Honoring hard work. Celebrating the people who built America. 🇺🇸
In the late 1800s, American workers began gathering to make one simple point: the people doing the work deserved to be recognized.
One of the earliest Labor Day celebrations was held in New York City on September 5, 1882. Twelve years later, in 1894, Labor Day became a federal holiday.
Today, the meaning reaches far beyond any one profession. It belongs to every person who shows up, serves others, builds something worthwhile, and helps a community move forward.
At Tandoori Bistro St. Charles, we’re grateful for the people whose daily work strengthens the places we call home.
Today is your day to slow down, gather with people you care about, and enjoy a well-earned moment.
Happy Labor Day. Come celebrate with us today. ❤️
