Out of an abundance of caution, Vinothai’s will be temporarily closed from July 7 to July 20, 2020. It has come to our attention that two staff members went to a crowded beach during the 4th of July weekend. Upon learning this, we have asked the two employees to get tested and quarantine themselves for two weeks before returning to work. The safety of our workers and our customers are our greatest priority. The resulting staff shortage has led Vinothai’s to the decision that we must close the restaurant for now, in the interest of keeping with our high standards. We thank you for your support in these difficult times, and we apologize for any inconvenience. Please visit our website for more updates. We look forward to serving the community again soon!

We have asked our kitchen staffs to wear masks while they are cooking long ago for the good hygiene and to filter smoke from intense cooking heat. We now have to enforce the front staffs to wear the masks too. Many customers concern if anyone is sick. Thank you and we can assure you that we're fine and just trying not to get sick.

Step outside without a face mask in Hong Kong and you'll get looks. That's not true elsewhere. Why?
