Our Fish, Shrimp, and Clams are caught in Florida waters, delivered fresh every day. The selection varies from Snapper to Sheepshead, Mahi Mahi to Triggerfish, and Flounder to Black Drum. Sea folk and Landlubbers will all find something they'll enjoy.

Joshua Smith is the executive chef at Catch 27 restaurant in St. Augustine, Florida. Born and raised in Galesburg, Illinois, his first introduction to restaurants was visiting his great grandmother Edna at work in The Pizza House, a local pizzeria in Galesburg.

He completed the Chef Apprenticeship through the American Culinary Federation in 2006 while working in a local steak house and at local bakeries in Illinois.

He became the executive chef at The Ice Plant in 2013, helping build the first farm-to-table gastro bar in St. Augustine. While there, he was filmed in an episode of “The Grill Iron” at that appeared on the Cooking Channel.

He accepted the executive chef position at Catch 27 restaurant in 2015.

Chef Josh will feature his culinary expertise at The James Beard Foundation Dinner in the Oldest City on Sunday, May 31 at the historic Peña-Peck House. Tickets will go on sale at 6 PM this Friday, May 15.

The event is hosted in collaboration with James Beard Foundation, The Woman’s Exchange of St. Augustine, The St. Johns Cultural Council, the St. Johns County Tourist Development Council, and Chef Barry Honan of Lotus Noodle Bar.

The evening will bring together five exceptional chefs in celebration of the region’s rich culinary heritage:
