Hurricane Update!

We have made the decision to close today @ 3pm, and stay closed all of tomorrow. Growing up in Florida, most of these storms do not bring me much concern, but this one feels a bit different. Even we have relatives we have had to evacuate from the gulf coast. Remember to be safe and we will reopen Friday!!

Brisky’s BBQ food truck will finally be open tomorrow, Wed Sept. 13th @ 855 Anastasia Blvd. We have dedicated a cell phone for the mobile truck with the phone number 904-460-3686. Feel free starting tomorrow to call in orders for the truck if in that area. I will post a menu later today with pricing. The truck will have limited supplies each day. And will only be serving meals, not bulk orders, if you would like a bulk order, example being 3 pounds of brisket, you will need to place the order a day in advance. We are a fresh cook establishment and need to add to our morning loads to provide for orders of that type. We look forward to serving everyone and hope you find this new point of take out to be helpful!

Thank you to all our followers for making us a success. We have been so successful we feel the need for some upgrades.

We are going to be closing for 1 week starting July 17th and we will reopen July 24th. We are installing new floors in both our kitchen and dining room as well as installing an additional new smoker. The additional smoker will allow us to keep up with the growing demand for our food and will also be necessary to run the food truck. Many already know and many will soon find out that we are moving our food truck to Anastasia Blvd full time soon. It will be over the bridge of lions but before you reach the alligator farm. We are hoping to have the truck up and operating by the end of July, but it may take a little longer. We are waiting on the state to approve the design changes we are undertaking in the truck, and can only start operating the truck once it has been approved.

For now Brisky’s still has power and intends to be open today. we are filling orders today for some of the emergency power workers and it seemed worthy of being open for. The employees were told work was not mandatory so I am sure we will be a short staffed. Please show a little patience if you visit and call ahead if possible. Many of you will be without power, as long as we can we can, we will provide ice to those who need some, in limited supply. Like all these storms we will have moments of relative ugly but calm, and heavy squalls, come out if it safe, stay home if it is not. We wish all of you the best.
