Hi! We’re Jacob and Lexus Chatagnier, the family behind Chatagnier Community Market.

Some of you may already know us from Chatagnier Family Farm . Last year we hosted our very first community market, and the response was more than we ever imagined. Seeing our community come together to support local vendors made us realize Gonzales was ready for something more than an occasional market.

We dreamed of creating a place where local farmers, bakers, artists, makers, and small businesses could have a home year round instead of just a few weekends a year. Not everyone believed it would work, but we believed in our community enough to take the leap.

We’re also mom and dad to two amazing boys, Lux and Jett. We hope they grow up knowing it’s okay to work hard, take chances, and chase big dreams.

Before opening the market, Lexus spent nearly eight years at Turner Industries, working her way from Clerk to a Treasury Staff Accountant before leaving to pursue this dream full time. Jacob continues working full time in the industrial industry while helping build the market every step of the way.

Our goal is simple. We want Chatagnier Community Market to be a place where local businesses can grow, families can shop local, and our community can connect.
