25 YEARS LATER — WE REMEMBER.

Today, our nation pauses to remember September 11, 2001.

We remember the innocent lives that were lost.

We remember the firefighters, police officers, first responders, military members, and ordinary Americans who ran toward danger when others were running away.

But 25 years later, we also remember something else.

We remember how we came together.

Neighbors helped neighbors. Strangers became friends. Communities gathered. American flags appeared on homes, businesses, vehicles and street corners. For a little while, the things that divided us seemed much smaller than the things we shared.

Maybe that is something worth remembering today, too.

Here in the Gila Valley, we are blessed to live in a community where people still show up for each other. Where families know one another. Where neighbors help when someone is hurting. Where first responders leave their own families to help someone else’s.

On this Patriot Day, the Casa Mañana Family joins our community and our nation in remembering those we lost, honoring those who served, and being grateful for the country and community we call home.

May we never forget September 11, 2001.
And may we never forget September 12, either. 🇺🇸

🇺🇸 Happy Labor Day from the Casa Mañana Family! ❤️

Every year, we close a few extra days so our incredible team can rest, recharge, & enjoy a well-deserved holiday weekend with their families.

Our story began more than 75 years ago when the American Dream became reality through the HARD WORK, sacrifice & vision of our founders, Gabby & Emma Gabaldon.

For seven & a half decades, Casa Mañana has been a gathering place for generations of HARD WORKING PEOPLE right here in the Gila Valley.

From the outside, restaurants can look like a pretty fun business to be in. 😄 Over the years, a few of our customers have even opened restaurants of their own.

They’ll ALL tell you the same thing:

RESTAURANTS ARE HARD WORK!!!

And keeping a 75-year-old family restaurant alive takes an incredible number of HARD WORKING PEOPLE — cooks, dishwashers, servers, bussers, managers, vendors, repairmen, farmers, truck drivers, tradesmen & countless others who keep our community moving EVERY SINGLE DAY!

Some of you even spent this holiday weekend WORKING, while the rest of us were enjoying a day off.

WE SEE YOU! 👀❤️🇺🇸

Summer is OVER! Cooler weather is ahead & everyone is getting back to work.

And so are we. ❤️ Casa Mañana reopens tomorrow at 11AM!
