Some of the best lunches are not just about the food. They are about having a comfortable place to gather, slow down, laugh, and enjoy time together. ❤️

Thelma and this wonderful group of ladies recently joined us for lunch at Casa Mañana. Our team found them a quiet space where they could relax, talk, and enjoy one another’s company.

Thelma later left us this kind review:

“They were so kind and accommodating. We have health issues because we’re an older group and they put us together in a quiet space and we had time to talk and visit. The food was excellent. And the service was awesome.”

⚡ I OWE YOU AN APOLOGY…WE RAN OUT OF CAKE! 🍰

Yesterday’s monsoon brought the whole Arizona weather package: lightning, heavy rain, hail, blowing dust, damaging wind & no electricity.

Our neighbors west of town were hit especially hard. Trees came down, power lines were damaged & many families spent the evening IN THE DARK and out checking on their homes, their neighborhoods and one another.

We’re SO GRATEFUL for the first responders, utility crews & neighbors who braved the storm to help eachother. We are BLESSED to live in this AMAZING COMMUNITY. Our hearts are with everyone cleaning up today.

Apparently, after driving around the valley surveying the storm damage, everybody decided to come to Casa Mañana for dinner…AND Tropical Tres Leches Cake. 😂

I thought I made enough.

I WAS VERY WRONG!

Between our longtime Casa Club members & all the new members joining during our Back-to-School Reset, you cleaned us out!

The lightning flashed.
The rain poured.
The wind blew.
The hail fell.
And all the cake disappeared. 🍰
