Let me tell you how our baristas are committed to customer service! Over and above award!! Thank you Piper and Makeila!
Today’s Example.
This morning we had a guy come through the drive-through with the passenger. The barista made their drinks went to the window to hand them out, and the man said “hey my battery’s dead”.
Barista: I’m so sorry I don’t have any jumper cables.
Customer: what am I gonna do? I have to be to work in 20 minutes.
Barista: I will come out and help you push your car out of the way.
So as one barista took car side orders in the line, the other barista came and pushed the car out of the way because the driver could not open his door against the building, note: the passenger never got out to help so thank you to the customer in line behind them for jumping out and helping! But then…
Driver: I can’t steer
Barista: I’m so sorry we just need to get you out of the way
Barista ran across the street to the mechanic shop to see if they had jumper cables, note: the two customers are still sitting in their car. The mechanic didn’t have a way to jump their battery but he had a battery so he ran across the street and swapped out their battery out. Note: customers are still sitting in their car.
Barista’s gave mechanic a Red Bull re-up for his kindness. Customer still never got out of their car but happily dove off with a charged battery.
Now is that customer service or what! Both from the baristas and the mechanic! Two small local businesses jumping in to help!!
