From his original tropical look to the Kona you know today, each version has brought a little something different while keeping that same Kona spirit 💙

Day 1 done. Now the real August test: recess. 🌈

🍧🏆 THE RESULTS ARE IN! 🏆🍧
1,500+ comments and enough school spirit to power all three trucks. 🚚🚚🚚 We are so, so grateful. To every parent, teacher, and PTA who showed up LOUD and proud for their school — thank you. We saw every single one of you, and it filled our hearts. 💙

Special thanks to the daughter — our sixth-grade comment-counting summer intern. Pay: unlimited Kona (she's a lavender lemonade girl) and no escape from the family business. 😂

Drumroll… 🥁 our three winning schools, each getting a FREE Kona Ice truck at their open house:

🥇 Curlew Creek Elementary
🥇 Lowry Elementary
🥇 Ozona Elementary

Winners — we'll reach out tomorrow to lock your date! 🎉

Plot twist: 🤫 nobody really lost. We've got trucks and we're not shy about it — we'd love to roll up to the other nominated schools too. Your families get their Kona, your PTA gets a big, extra-sweet giveback check, and the school pays nothing. 🍧

Want in? Email [email protected]. First to reach out gets first pick of dates — no pressure, but the trucks are already warming up. 🚚🌈

🎪 Field days, color runs, fall festivals, trunk-or-treats, holiday light nights, spring flings, end-of-year bashes — if it's a party, we're perfect for it. And with 600 servings an hour, nobody's stuck in line. 🍧

Too much fun to do once. Follow along — we'll be back! 💙

07/26/2026

🔥 24 HOURS LEFT — and THE RACE IS ON — these schools are in the running!

These schools are battling it out for our three truck spots:

🍧 Ozona Elementary
🍧 Lowry Elementary
🍧 Curlew Creek Elementary
🍧 Lake St. George Elementary
🍧 Curtis Fundamental Elementary
🍧 Leila G. Davis Elementary
🍧 Citrus Park Elementary
🍧 Garrison-Jones Elementary
🍧 McMullen-Booth Elementary
🍧 Skycrest Elementary
🍧 Eisenhower Elementary
🍧 Deer Park Elementary
🍧 Forest Lakes Elementary
🍧 Sickles High

If your school's on this list, now's the time — rally your parents!

👉 Like your school's comment on our pinned contest post to lock in the vote — link in the comments. That's where every vote counts.

Winners announced tomorrow night. 🏆

🍧 THREE SCHOOLS. THREE TRUCKS. FREE KONA. 🍧
Open house night is almost here, and we want to make it a party.
We're giving away a free Kona Ice truck visit to THREE local schools for their open house or meet-the-teacher night (60 minutes). Free for every student, every parent, every teacher who walks up. No cost to the school. No cost to the PTA.
We've got three trucks, so three schools win. 🚚🚚🚚
📍 FIRST — MAKE SURE WE SERVE YOUR SCHOOL 📍
We can only bring the truck to schools inside our home territory:
Clearwater · Safety Harbor · Dunedin · Oldsmar · Palm Harbor · Westchase · Citrus Park · Town 'N' Country · Carrollwood

Outside those? We'd love to say yes, but we can't cross into another Kona operator's territory — and we don't want your school racking up votes for a truck we can't legally send. 💙
How to enter — 3 steps:
1️⃣ Comment your school's name below — territory schools only, please!
2️⃣ Like the comment if your school is already listed
3️⃣ Share this post to your school's parent group
The three schools with the most comments + likes win. 🏆
Voting closes Monday, July 27. Winners announced that night.
Serving these neighborhoods since day one. 🌈

Zip codes we serve: 33614 · 33615 · 33624 · 33625 · 33626 · 33634 · 33635 · 33759 · 33761 · 33765 · 34677 · 34683 · 34684 · 34695 · 34698
