Canada got Crepes with maple syrup, Paraguay gets Sopa Paraguaya(killer cheesy corn bread), Morocco will have hummus, olives and pita tomorrow afternoon. Qatar Switzerland at noon on a hot saturday? we are calling for Blanca's tacos and cold beer. Corn and flour both hand made. 12-3

Half of college students in California are food insecure. Just 25% of those students received Calfresh benefits, either because they didn’t think they were eligible or they didn’t know how to apply. That’s why I introduced SB 961, which will expand access to Calfresh and notify eligible students. Nutritious and affordable meals improve student outcomes and help reduce poverty. Thank you to the students who came out to support the bill in committee.
