The Trade's Final Chapter
Dear Friends,
After 10 unforgettable years, The Trade Coffee & Coworking will close its doors permanently on Wednesday, December 18th, 2024, at 4PM. While it's bittersweet to say goodbye, we want to focus on the incredible memories, connections, and creativity that have flourished within these walls.
Be sure to take advantage of any loyalty awards you may have. They will be honored until December 18th!

When we opened The Trade Coffee & Coworking 10 years ago, it was more than just the start of a business—it was the continuation of a love story. We first met in a coffee shop—and what began as simple exchanges over cups of coffee turned into a partnership in life and in work. Together, we built The Trade, got married, and created something bigger than just a café: a family, both figuratively and literally.
Our vision was simple: to create a place where people could grab a great coffee, feel at home, and leave with more than just their order—a sense of connection. Over the years, The Trade has grown into something truly special, thanks to the incredible staff and the relationships they've built with each of you.
From day one, our team set the tone with a "Cheers" vibe. Every visit wasn't just a transaction but a chance to catch up, share a laugh, and become part of the family. We've loved watching The Trade become a trusted stop in your day, where friendships were sparked, and the sense of community thrived.
As our lease comes to an end, it's time for us to step into a new chapter. With two young children at home, our focus now turns to them—to nurturing the family we've built both inside and outside The Trade. As much as it breaks our hearts to say goodbye, we do so with immense gratitude for the decade of joy, laughter, and community you've given us.
The Trade's doors may close, but the memories we've made together will last forever. Thank you for being part of our journey and making The Trade what it is today—a place where everyone feels like family.

The heart and soul of The Trade Coffee & Coworking has always been our staff--the amazing individuals who've made every visit memorable, every interaction meaningful, and every cup of coffee feel like home. Over the past decade, past and present team members have been the driving force behind the warmth, creativity, and energy that define The Trade.
A special shoutout to our current team:
• Jenelle, our loyal, communicative, and community-focused leader. She's our social media goddess, marketing queen, and the driving force behind many of The Trade's successful projects. Her creativity and hard work have kept us relevant and thriving. Jenelle's dedication has even extended to her family—her sisters, who also became part of The Trade's journey, leaving a lasting legacy.
• Cameron, the lovable "teddy bear" we proudly poached from another café. His dedication, unmatched support, and inviting spirit have made him a cornerstone of our team. Cameron has embraced The Trade as his own and brought us into his personal life and family, a bond we will always treasure.
• Andy, our newest addition, who instantly felt like family. Wise beyond his years, Andy fits seamlessly into the fabric of The Trade, bringing fresh energy and invaluable insight to our space. He's a gadget guru and foodie, constantly considering everyone and making treats and treasures for the team to share.
• Chase, with his unmatched humor, leadership, and charm. When Chase, Matt, and Cameron are together, it is pure magic—game over! Though Chase recently moved on, he'll forever be an honorary team member, as he ran The Trade better than anyone else could.
We also owe immense gratitude to JM Knudsen, our art curator since 2016. JM has transformed The Trade into a space that serves coffee and celebrates art and creativity. His vision elevated our brand to new heights in art, leaving an indelible mark on our identity.
A huge thank-you to Edit My TV by Live Action Studios, whose creativity and constant support have been instrumental in our journey, especially post-COVID. And to every artist, partner, customer, and community member who has championed the Trade—your praise and encouragement over the years have meant the world to us.
To all our staff, past and present: you've built more than a café; you've created a family and legacy we will always treasure. Thank you for being the heartbeat of The Trade ❤️
