The rumors are true! Urban Roots is officially headed to Southern California, with Karl Strauss Distributing () putting our beers in your favorite spots starting next week. It's a big step for us, and we couldn't be more stoked to share what we've been brewing with a whole new crowd.

🚨 BEER RELEASE 🚨

Edel-Pils is back! We love this beer because it's everything a German pilsner should be. Bright, crisp, and clean at 4.8%, with delicate floral hop notes from Tettnang and a soft, snappy finish that begs for another sip.

It's a simple recipe, but with a serious process. That's the whole philosophy behind this one, because when a beer is this stripped down, every detail counts.

We built it to land right between EZPZ and 10º, softer than one, hoppier than the other, with just enough bitterness to keep things clean and fresh. Weyermann Pils malt and our house lager yeast handle the heavy lifting, and the result is a pilsner that drinks easy on a hot Sacramento afternoon and pairs even better with something off the smoker.

Now pouring on draft, with cans to-go ready for wherever the weekend takes you.

There are two ways to handle a heat wave. One involves complaining about it. The other involves a Boozy Piña Colada Slushie with a Pineapple Dole Whip topper, a shady spot in the beer garden, and zero plans for the next hour.

We recommend the second one. The Dole Whip add is just a dollar, and yes, it's worth it.

Pride season is here, and so is one of our favorite beers of the year!

Guys, Gals and Nonbinary Pals Hazy Pale Ale is officially pouring at 5.4% ABV with pineapple, citrus peel and guava leading the way. We hopped this juicy pale with Citra, El Dorado and Citra terpenes for a crushable, feel-good beer that matches the energy of the month perfectly.

As always, a donation goes to the Sac LGBTQ Center () with this release. If the Pride March has you in the neighborhood this weekend, you already know where to find us. Everyone is welcome at Urban Roots. 🫶🏼

Pool season has an official beer, and its name is Super Snappy!

Our new West Coast Pilsner comes in at 5.3% ABV and it was brewed with one purpose: to be the most crushable thing in your hand all summer.

Dry and crispy with tasting notes of dank resin, mixed berry and citrus, we hopped this one with Mosaic, El Dorado, Simcoe and Columbus Cryo for a hop-forward pils that still goes down way too easy.

Frostbike is back, and it couldn't have better timing. Our Cold West Coast IPA takes the backbone of our flagship WC IPA and ferments it with our house lager strain, giving you all that classic hop character with a crispness that hits different on a warm day.

Simcoe, Simcoe Cryo, Mosaic, Mosaic Cryo, and El Dorado hops bring cantaloupe, tropical fruit, and pine into a 6.2% pint that's clean, refreshing, and dangerously easy to drink.
