The Smokehouse Beer Dinner is back Monday, October 12th at 6pm, and we’re teaming up with our friends at Great Basin Brewing for this one!

We got together and brewed two collaboration beers for the occasion:

🍺 Trace Your Roots — West Coast Pilsner
🍺 West of the Basin — West Coast IPA

Both collabs will be pouring at the dinner alongside a lineup of beers, each paired with a full Smokehouse menu.

And this collaboration goes both ways. Great Basin is hosting their own beer dinner in Reno on Friday, October 23rd, featuring both collab beers alongside more from their lineup. If Reno is a little closer to home, hit the link in our bio for all the details.

Meet some of your 2026 We**ie Race competitors!🌭🏁

We’re just over two weeks out from the 2nd Annual Urban Roots We**ie Dog Races, and the field is looking fast, focused, and extremely low to the ground.

Race entries are officially SOLD OUT, but watching is half the fun. We’re closing down the street out front to make room for the crowds, so come grab a beer, get some food, and watch these little legs go to work. All ages welcome and it's free to attend!

Sunday, September 20th. Races start at 10AM. See you trackside.

Every Wednesday, we’re bringing back the Pastrami Sandwich featuring 14oz of house pastrami stacked with yellow mustard, dill pickles, caraway kraut and melted Emmental on rye toasted in butter + pastrami tallow.

Oktoberfest is getting close, and we figured it was time to give you a little peek at who’s joining us.

These are just SOME of the breweries already confirmed to take over the taps at Urban Roots, with more still to come.

Opening Weekend kicks everything off September 18th–20th, but we’re keeping the Oktoberfest festivities rolling every weekend through October 4th.

The hardware has officially arrived. 🥇Paul’s celebrating accordingly.

Like Riding a Bike took home GOLD at the Best of the West National IPA Throwdown, giving our flagship West Coast IPA some well-deserved recognition.

We’ve been brewing this one for a long time. We’ve been drinking it for a long time. And apparently, the judges agree with us.

For National Burger Day, you’ve got options at Urban Roots.

Go big with the BBQ Burger stacked with fried onion rings, pickled jalapeños, sweet & sticky BBQ sauce, American cheese and burger sauce.

Alright folks, we heard you.

Apparently selling out all 100 We**ie Dog Race entries in just a few hours caught a few of you by surprise. And yes, that was already DOUBLE the number of racers we had last year.

So we moved some things around, did a little we**ie race math, and managed to squeeze in 30 MORE RACE SPOTS.

That’s it. That’s all we’ve got.

Registration is back OPEN through the link below. And we really mean it this time: when these 30 are gone, they’re GONE.
