Trust us, you have never tasted a BBQ sauce like this before...our sauce was even recognized as one of Sactown's Top 10 BBQ sauces! Awesome sauce is awesome. It is with great sadness to share that our beloved owner, Gin Wong, passed away on April 2, 2026. For over 3 decades, he built a strong community with his loyal customers and friendships that lasted. He was a pillar in the city with fabulous food, company, and memories.

Beyond his professional accomplishments, he was a devoted husband to Kit Wong and father to four children, Michael, Karine, David, and Allen, and proud grandfather to 11 grandchildren. He took immense pride in their achievements, especially their education and personal growth, seeing them as his greatest legacy. His life was defined by hard work, self-reliance, and a commitment to providing opportunities for his family.

He will be remembered for his entrepreneurial spirit, resilience in the face of hardship, and unwavering dedication to his loved ones. A memorial service will be held at the East Lawn Memorial Park on Folsom Blvd in Sacramento on Sunday, April 26, 2026, at 10:00 AM.
