Now that the weather is warming up and more people are out enjoying the sunlight its a perfect time to come grab some sushi!

As summer approaches were also getting ready for a higher volume of guests which means were on the lookout for some new crew members to add to our team.

Introducing our newest vegan creation, the Caprese roll! Inspired by our friends over at We decided to make our version of a pizza sushi roll. Made with vegan mozzarella, cherry tomatoes, and shiso leaf which is a Japanese basil type herb. Rolled in nori and rice and drizzled with balsamic glaze derived from Modena and sprinkled with sesame seeds. Come try this delicious & refreshing roll while it lasts and be sure to stop in and tell our friends hello as well! ☺️🍕🍣

Low budget picture quality but high flavor profile. Introducing The Godzilla! Breaking down the walls at Midtown Sushi. This roll is a mountain of deliciousness…Spicy tuna, tempura shrimp, and avocado rolled up and topped with red and white tuna, smothered in our house made soy mayo, broiled jalapeños, green onions and masago. Lastly sprinkled in tempura crispies and our amazing crunchy garlic chili oil. Come in and try it out for yourself. Bonus points to whoever comes in wearing retro graphic tees 🤣😎👌🏻

We are seeking a Grill/Fry Cook & Dishwasher to join our dedicated kitchen staff! You will assist in the preparation, cooking, and presentation of meals in our professional kitchen.

We are offering both full-time and part-time depending on your preference. Ideally we would like to find someone to cover two days in the dish washing position and three days in the kitchen however we can work around skill levels and training to see where you fit best. All positions in our restaurant receive tips!

Responsibilities:

Prepare all grilled or fried food

Plan to-go orders in a timely manner alongside dine in meals

Memorize, and comprehend menu items, plate appearance, and portions

Follow standard recipes and special diet orders.

We have an extensive vegan and gluten free menu as well

Operate standard kitchen equipment safely and efficiently

Adhere to all sanitation and food production codes

Clean and maintain kitchen equipment, utensils, and appliances

Qualifications:

Previous experience in cooking, culinary arts, or other related fields preferred but not required

Strong attention to detail

Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment

Ability to work well in teams

All guests and employees are required to wear masks, we have sanitizing stations provided, and procedures in place to keep everyone as safe as possible.

We will be featuring our new spooky sushi rolls as well as our vegan popcorn shrimp! Honestly, even if you’re not vegan you should still come and explore the menus, you’d be surprised how creative some of these people can get.

Midtown Sushi can’t wait for Halloween so we’ve decided to “roll” out a new spooky menu. Starting this Tuesday October 5th we’ll be featuring our new Black Widow and Monster Roll. We’ve made sure to use vegan and gluten free dyes and ingredients to accommodate all dietary needs. So come on in and get into the “spirit” with us! 👻🍣🍹
