Hello everyone! We’re getting a little closer to our goal of opening ...clearing each revision on our plans.

I had the pleasure of meeting the executive chef of the Tropics Restaurant at the southeast corner of 20th and J streets this evening.

Very nice people working there. I bought their pulled pork sandwich to go while stopping in at our new location just a few doors down.

In my opinion the pulled pork sandwich at the Tropics was the most delicious I have ever had.....lots of juicy pork! Authentic!

Please support the Tropics and small business!!

Hi everyone! I hope you and your families are healthy and thriving. We will definitely get through this hick up. The midtown location is still under plan review and due to covid 19 things really slowed down! I hope we can open our midtown location by end of July. It’s taking forever but I know when we open you guys will be there to support us and many other fine restaurants and small business. Blessing to all you always! 😊❤️👌

Dear Customers of Opa! Opa!

As you know we have stayed open for sometime now to prepare the new location in midtown which will be open hopefully sometime by April/May.

Today as the owner of Opa! Opa! As well as the owner of the commercial center at 57th & J....I am please to announce that I have found a new operator to take over our present location at 5644 J Street, Chando’s Tacos!

Our last Greek meals at this location will be served today until 8pm! Midtown is coming soon at 20th and J streets.

Change is good; progress is inevitable!
We have been truly blessed by all of you!!
