Good morning everyone.

Today has been one of the hardest and saddest days I’ve experienced professionally.

It it’s we a broken heart 💔 and tears in our eyes that we’re informing you that THE BEES CAFE Will be closing its doors 🚪 to the public today 4/30/2022 .

We appreciate your support and patronage over this rocky short lived adventure, as a person who has devoted his whole life to food and hospitality I cannot in good conscious operate a restaurant with 2 people (my wife and myself).

We tried bringing something unique to south natomas in hopes to create a different vibe for a really neglected neighborhood.

This has been a wonderful experience with some amazing people who came through our doors.

This is not the end of this dream, we will refocus our energy and knowledge into something better, unfortunately the current labor shortage and the Location of our restaurant makes it super hard for us to recruit people to help us .

From my wife and my family we thank you 🙏.

Hello everyone, chef Juan here with a sad announcement.

We open our doors to the public this weekend and we had an amazing community response, we served almost 500 meals between Friday, Saturday and Sunday .

I would be a liar if I told you that this is what we were expecting on our opening weekend.

A good leader needs to recognize his weaknesses in order to be a successful leader and in tandem guide those who follow him.

As many of you know, there’s a shortage of qualified people who are willing to work in the food 🥘 industry, a industry that is extremely physically demanding.

We are not ready to accommodate the amount of people we had over the weekend with our current staff and we’re not able to accommodate our weddings at the same time.

This is a very hard decision that I’m taking and my wife and myself have given it a lot of thought.

We will be closing our doors 🚪 tomorrow for a private event and will reopen Thursday and Friday from 8-2 pm

However, we will not be opening our restaurant on weekends for the next couple of weeks until we get the right staff and work all the bugs in our operation.

OUR TEMPORARY HOURS OF OPERATION WILL BE

WEDNESDAY-FRIDAY 8:00 am - 2:00 pm

I want to provide you each and every one of you with the highest quality of food and service .

It’s a sad decision but wasn’t taken lightly.
