Luana's Shaved Ice Luana's Shaved Ice opens June 1st in Sachse, serving up the finest "shave" ice with flavors straight from Hawaii. Our family loves sweets!

Opening Luana's Shaved Ice allows us to share our taste for sweets and our love of the tropics with you! Luana is a Hawaiian name meaning, "Enjoyment". Life was meant to be enjoyed, so come check us out starting June 1st to enjoy a taste of Hawaii! After being stationed in Hawaii during WWII, Cindy's grandparents brought a little Hawaii to Dallas, Texas when they gave their daughters Hawaiian name

s, "Leilani", and "Louanna". Our wonderful mother Louanna's name provided a great basis for the name of our company as we too try to bring a little Hawaii to North Texas!
