I was in a smokin’ mood today. Bacon was the theme. I made bacon wrapped meatloaf, ribs, jalapeño poppers, and baked beans on the smoker. Kinders corn and mashed potatoes aren’t pictured. Finished it all off with s’mores treats. What y’all cooking today? Comment and give me some ideas for next weekend. I’m off to finish loading the tater toter for tomorrow. I’ll be at Dove with some awesome friends - Alchemy Burger Co. Smoke'N Johnsons and Shields Wicked Deep Fried Confections.

Unfortunately it looks like we’ve been rained out! We have to make these calls early out of respect to our food trucks as they start food prepping early. We hope to see you all 8/8 for our next one! Have a great weekend!

Due to the unpredictable weather, we have been advised to cancel tonight. I appreciate the opportunity, and the honesty from Kyler, who is always looking out for us.

In the meantime, take a look at what’s going on at our house. Our pond needed a good fill, anyway. 😳 Looks like I may be rearranging some of the rocks out there. Our garden is very thankful for all of this rain, as well. We hope you all stay nice and dry today. 🙏🏼
