If you are holtridge or if you know who this is I want you to know it’s not true. There was a small green vehicle pull up then pull out. They didn’t come to the door because if they did they would have walked in. We were open at 7 I just didn’t turn the closed sign. Our waitress had not showed up but the owner was here and did have everything going and ready to serve at 7:00 am

We have purchased a meat grinder and grinding fresh meat. Tomorrow special will be choice of brisket burger or steak burger made with ribeye comes with hand cut fries. Just something new we are trying so come by and try it tell us what you think.

Me and Momma are back here doing what we love, for our people, our community, and what we call our family. If you didn't know it, that Swiney blood running through our veins (thanks to MawMaw Penny) sure does encourage us, and makes us want to serve the best food. Consider our food our love language to you! We can not wait to serve you today, come on out and let us fill those bellies up! As always, we love and appreciate every one of you. Thank you for your continued support, and if you don't mind, give is like, share and comment to help this reach other people in our community and surrounding areas.

Just a reminder- we are open this morning! We will be serving breakfast until 11 AM, and can't wait to serve you. We still have great breakfast platters! And to address some of the complaints that we have received about the breakfast, our gravy has went back to the old fashioned gravy. We listen to our customers, we value your opinion, and will try our best to make the very best experience for you as we possibly can.

Good Morning friends of East Tennessee! With all of the hustle and bustle of doing your patriotic duty today, we invite you to come fill your belly with some good eating before voting. We extend our biggest good luck to all of our candidates who are running for office, and wish the best for you all. Stop on by for some breakfast before, or prepare yourself for some lunch after. P.S. we got that gravy tasting real good this morning- like I told momma, its kind of like Mawmaw Penny was whispering in my ear exactly how to make it.

Some more changes are coming to Penny's! We will be changing our hours around once again, trying to accommodate the needs of our community as well as our co-workers. We believe in keeping our customers updated on whats going on- so here it is. We are very short staffed, we have to take that into consideration when scheduling, more so now than ever. We also feel as though Mondays are a very slow for our little town. Closing on Monday would allow our co-workers one allotted day off, so they can help us better serve you. Lets face it, we are nothing without the strength of the Lords helping hand, our hard workers, and the very special customers that keep us rolling. Truly, from the bottom of our hearts, me and momma appreciate you all being so understanding and taking on this journey with us, as we figure out what will best serve everyone.
