Can you believe it’s already Labor Day Weekend… the unofficial last weekend of summer?! 😵‍💫

What a GREAT summer we had hanging out with you all! From crafts and camps to celebrations, you all kept The Hangout full of memories all summer long.

We’re so grateful for every family who walked through our doors, attended an event, booked a party, grabbed a bite to eat, made a craft, or simply came to HANGOUT with us.

Summer may be wrapping up, but we’re not done making memories! We have so much fun planned for fall and the holiday season.

Cheers to us on vacation this weekend 🤭♥️

I really LOVE hanging out at The Hangout. 🥹❤️

Yes, it’s work. Yes, there’s always something that needs to be done. But most days, you’ll find me right where I want to be — Hanging out in the dining room, going from table to table, talking to the kids, laughing with the adults, hearing everybody’s stories and just enjoying our community.

And honestly… that’s my favorite part.

The Hangout is exactly who we think we are !!!.

When kids feel comfortable being themselves, parents can relax, and everybody feels welcomed when they walk through the door … we feel
Accomplished… because that was the mission all along😉

This video is from Summer Vampire I Hung out for days during this summer and I am now Ms. Tee /Aunt Tee because somewhere along the way, customers have begin to feel a lot more like family.

So yeah… basically Hanging out is part of my job description 🤣 I love this Job so bad !!

How BLESSED ARE WE ?!

This Friday and Saturday was so gooddd.
Social Club turn out was great 🤭
Saturday’s Hangout was packed .. and I was given such fine compliments by so many kids who didn’t want to go home 🥹

My most memorable one, a young boy came up to me and poured Into me .. He told me he had an amazing day, that he loves it here, and that our hospitality was so good.

And whew… that meant EVERYTHING to me considering the week I just had AND… One thing about kids — they are HONEST!

They’re going to tell you when they love something, and they’re definitely going to tell you when they don’t!

We work so hard to make The Hangout more than just a place to grab something to eat or do a craft. We want it to feel welcoming. We want kids and families to feel comfortable. We want people to walk through our doors and feel like they belong here.

So to that young man: thank you for giving me my flowers today. You probably have no idea how much I needed that moment.♥️

And to our community — THANK YOU for continuing to pour back into us. Thank you for showing up, bringing your children, sharing our posts, telling your friends, encouraging us, and allowing us to keep creating a space where people can simply come together and… HANGOUT.

Today reminded me that what we’re building matters. Wanna Hangout?

Thursdays Vent Session !

Running a social media page is DRAINING. 😩

Then on top of all of that… people are so NEGATIVE.

We can post 20 positive things and ppl always will find ONE thing to complain about. People critique our prices, our business, and every decisions, the wording we use …… sometimes even things that don’t even affect them. 😂

And as a business owners, we’re expected to stay professional, smile, respond nicely and keep it moving even when you really want to say, things that aren’t nice as well .

Social media can absolutely help grow a business, but the mental energy it takes to constantly create, promote, engage and deal with everybody’s opinions is something people don’t talk about enough.

Some days I really want to post:

“We’re open this weekend …. Come hangout before we decide to close the doors.
