A MESSAGE FROM DALE SCOGGIN:

I am not sure how to adequately thank you, our customers, for 63 years of support. Because of my age and health issues I have chosen to close at this time. However, the restaurant will be sold at a later date.

I'm truly saddened by this decision for both the customers and the staff. My parents, Jim and Louise Scoggin, would never have dreamed when they opened in 1959 the length of time their business would be open. It was my goal to make sure the restaurant stayed open for 50 years. We reached that goal some years back but just could not consider closing at that time because of our wonderful customers and staff.

Finally, if any of you have any gift certificates that have not been used, please bring them by before we close and we will refund your money.

God bless each and every one of you!!
Dale Scoggin
