Many of you know and love Terrie not only as the owner of this tea shop, but as a friend, encourager, and treasured part of our community. Right now, she is in the ICU at Georgetown, and the next few days are critical.
One thing we have learned is that seeing familiar faces and feeling the love of her community brings her comfort and helps ease her anxiety when family members are unable to be at her bedside.
If you have been touched by her kindness, friendship, laughter, or the welcoming spirit she has created here, we invite you to stop by the hospital to visit, sit with her, share a memory, pray with her, or simply remind her that she is not alone.
Your presence matters more than you know.
Please continue to keep Terrie, her husband, and her family/friends in your prayers during this difficult time. We are deeply grateful for the love and support this community has always shown her.

For parking at the Verstandig (V) Pavilion, navigate to 3800 Reservoir Rd NWand enter the hospital campus through Entrance 1. Follow signs into the underground Parking 1 garage directly beneath the pavilion. [1]
Note the vehicle height restrictions: 9'8" on Level P1 and 7'6" on Levels P2 and P3. [1]
Important Steps for Your Visit:
• Valet vs. Self-Parking: Parking 1 is self-park only. If you require valet or wheelchair assistance, proceed instead to Entrance 2.
• Validation: Take your parking ticket with you! You must have it validated at an information desk inside to receive the standard parking rate. Without validation, a flat penalty rate of $75 will apply. [1, 2]
