Three and a half years ago, The Gunslingin' Burger rode into this little old town called Russellville. We decided to set up shop in a building that was away from the main busy roadway that passer-byers took. People told us that no one has made in that building for more than a year. Also there was this world-wide disease going around that had people locked up inside their homes. But we heard from the Lord, that this is our time and our place. So we proceeded to open a restaurant that brought something new to the area.
People told us that we wouldn't make it, but three and a half years later, we are still standing. And that is only because of Jesus Christ. When He gave me my restaurant, I turned around and gave it back to Him, to use and do with what He needed.
Prior to Covid, we were in a Theatrical Ministry, Born 2 Raze Hell. We had been doing that since 2012. Then 2020 came and we had to stop going into prisons and churches. Earlier this year in January, Little Rock prison called up and asked if we wanted to come back in. Since then, we are now back in 4 different prisons in Arkansas, with more prisons and churches opening doors for us. From July to December of this year, we will have done 4 plays on tour across Arkansas (prior to covid, our max was 2 tours a year).
That being said, God has spoke to us that he is closing the door to The Gunslingin' Burger, but opening another door into full time ministry. Now saying that, this is the end of the Gunslingin' Burger as you know it. We are still going to continue doing festivals and shows, we just won't have an actual building.
These last couple of years have been a blessing to be able to meet so many great people and businesses. This community has been very supportive of us and kept us moving forward, and to that we say. THANK YOU SO MUCH!!!!
Our last day will be Saturday, October 21. Thank you again, we couldn't have done it without you. We will meet again, so be on the lookout, you never know when we may ride back into town again.
