What a fun trip! I love trying new food places and checking out the town.❤️

I did get to try out a deli yesterday which was pretty good. I went with a very safe ham apple gouda croissant sandwich with chips and a slice of chocolate cake. Super cute spot and the gal working was very helpful and friendly. 😉

Today i tried Smash and Dash, a smash burger spot out in the middle of nowhere. I drove a half hour to try this spot.😅 Very kind staff and cute spot. I got a single smash with cream cheese and their fries. Very interesting combination. The burger was yumm but the cream cheese without any flavor threw me off a bit. Interesting to say the least but the burger itself was good. 😉🥳

DFW is huge so theres no way I would have been able to see everything but I did get to the zoo today. 🫶 Loved it. No photo dump....my phone is running out of storage so.....lucky you! 😅🫶

Back home tomorrow I go. Thank goodness!❤️ 🙏🏽

I visited the Forth Worth Botanical/Japanese Gardens. Stunning to say the least. ♥️

This will be a massive photo and video dump but a beautiful one.😉🫶 The Koi fish were MASSIVE! I swear I felt like Jie Tolentino Schloegel was with me with all of the massive plants.

🥳🥳Lunch review for Corner Bakery in Fort Worth, TX.

I absolutely love the character of towns, big or little, especially anything charming. The brick walkways did it for me....loved it.

Anyone who has a business big or small knows that a customers experience starts the moment they come in contact with your business name, you or your establishment. When I go into any business I'm looking at everything especially for the first impression.

This place was huge! It smelled really good upon walking in because its a full bakery/Cafe. Decor was nicely done and they even had samples. 😉

I checked out the menu and went with a pick 2 deal so I was able to try a sandwich and a pasta dish as well as a berry lemonade. 😋 The lemonade was delicious!

As a business owner myself first impressions are HUGE!! I make sure that anyone at the register is helpful, personable, engaging, and has great customer service skills.

This gal on the register taking my order not so much. I was kinda taken back by the whole order taking thing but still helped her out with trying to make sure my order was correct.

I was so hoping that the food would be better than the hospitality....thank goodness it was.

I got a chicken pesto sandwich and was so happy to see a side of chips with it. 🥳👌I love different textures with my sandwiches. 😉😉 I wasn't too thrilled with the bread. It seemed like too much for the amount of toppings in the sandwich but the toppings and pesto were wonderful.😋 The chicken was real too! 😉 If you know you know!🤦🏽‍♀️

I also tried the Chicken Pasta Rosa, so yummy! 😋 Perfect ratio....one suggestion I would make would be to use a penne instead. The pasta that was used just seemed like alot for the type of sauce given.

Now does one bad experience either with service or food take away from a first impression....? I think those are risks we all take when going to businesses but I would hope that businesses would take the whole experience into account for their customers.

I want my customers to have a great experience start to finish and if theres ever any issues I try to remedy it there if I know about it. I know there are the few that aren't happy no matter what we do to try and fix things but at least we try and hope that they come back and try again.

All in all a great lunch. ❤️🥳

Today I hit up Corner Bakery (review coming) just down the street from the Convention Center and Fort Worth Water Garden. How cool!!

I also saw a party train.....that was interesting. 🤔 They were having a blast though. 😆

Classes right away and Im here for it! Im a life long learner and if I learn anything to become better as a person or for my business Im down.

I had a rough morning in my feelings but had the best pep talk....so needed. Im feeling better and more optimistic.🙏🏽❤️
