Congratulations to our friends Top Town Chef Sara and John who used to live in Crestline. They just opened Citrus & Saffron Marketplace cafe in downtown Redlands. We stopped in today and tried two different sandwiches. Both were fantastic. They have spent two years working to get their new spot open. Highly recommend you check them out when in downtown Redlands!

You're invited to attend an improv theater show performed by Mountain Improv's short-form troupe, MISFIT's! Harking back to the days of the show Whose Line Is It Anyways, the team will be playing a number of short scenes & games inspired by your suggestions. From games such as New Choice & Narrate (Film Noir), we'll see if the MISFIT's team is up to the challenge.

Information about the team:

MISFIT's is made up of community members who have been attending Mountain Improv's weekly Beginner's Improv Theater Workshop. They host a free workshop weekly on Thursdays from 6pm - 7:30pm at the Mountain Counseling building in Crestline.

You may say to yourself “shut up and bake cupcakes”. That it’s bad for a business to be political. Well I hate to break it to you but doing business in this country is very political. It’s just been reported that Elon Musk has put up another $276,000,000.00 into this midterm election. His companies Tesla, SpaceX and Starlink are already cashing in on government contracts since he was the head of DOGE. Obviously we don’t have his bank account but what we can do is use our platform to hopefully make a difference in the lives of our employees and neighbors. Congressman Jay Obernolte has enriched himself by about $70 million since he’s been in Congress. He also voted to gut Medicare funding which will cost all of us more. Why would he do that? So his rich billionaire friends could save money on their taxes. So they get richer and our employees can’t afford to see a doctor. If you care about your community vote for prop 40 and tax the s**t out of the billionaires and please vote Tessa Lynn Hodge for Congress and get rid of the hundred millionaire Jay Olbernolte who doesn’t give a s**t about any of us.
