We were BUSY getting lots of gluten free and vegan stuff ready for y’all this week. Here’s what we’ve got:

That’s about it for this week! We’ll have even more options next week, and maybe even a sugar free option if we have some time. Open until 6:30 tonight to swing by and grab whatever your heart desires!

Good morning everyone, Happy Tuesday!! A few things for you on this beautiful morning.

First up, since the holiday weekend set us back a day (thanks to some much needed rest!) we did not make gluten free yesterday BUT we are making some fresh gluten free goodies for y’all today. Stay tuned we’ll post what we made later today! We will be limited in bread for a few days as we play catch up, but don’t worry, we’ll get back on track and all stocked up!! So, if you’re wanting some sourdough hurry in before it flies off the shelves.

We’ll see y’all soon for all the fresh baked goodness, gluten free treats, and Darla’s first batch of house made blackberry jam!!

THIS WEEKEND AT THE BAKERY!

Alrighty y’all, I think fall has made its (first) appearance, so we’re running with it! Starting this weekend, get a taste for some of the fall goodies Darla Sue’s will have to offer throughout the season. Here’s the highlights:

🎃PUMPKIN CINNAMON ROLLS!!
A classic Darla Sue’s cinnamon roll (gooey deliciousness and all) with the addition of a house-made pumpkin spice purée and topped with cream cheese frosting!

🍎APPLE PIE CHEESECAKE
A creamy cheesecake base with apple pie filling, streusel topping, and an apple spice glaze!

🍎APPLE SPICE SCONE
Our OG scone base filled with diced apples, warm baking spices, and topped with a sweet and flavorful glaze!

🎃PUMPKIN MINI LOAVES
A classic, the recipe straight out of grandmas kitchen! A seasonal favorite for a reason, this pumpkin-y, spice filled loaf is sure to delight. Topped with a cinnamon streusel for an extra special treat!

🫐BLUEBERRY CHEESECAKE
Because we’re not quite ready to let go of summer all the way just yet, we brought back a fan favorite. Classic creamy cheesecake, fresh Spooner’s blueberries, all the remnants of summer in one small pan. You won’t regret this sweet treat!

HAPPY FRIDAY!! Yet another busy week at Darla Sue’s, and we’re officially soft launching into fall over here with this weather change!! Our full weekend menu will be posted later, but let’s just say… it’s gonna be SO SO GOOD y’all!!

SATURDAY AND SUNDAY:
Find us at the shop, or at the Four Corners Swap Meet! Darla will be set up both days from 10-4, with all the fresh baked goodies.

Alrighty, back to baking up a storm we go! Today we’re baking lots of bread, treats, cookies, you name it! Swing on by and see what we’ve got. We’ll see y’all soon!

Hello ladies and gentlemen. I wanted to remind you that it is September, which is the childhood cancer awareness month. My daughter made this song for my little angel Emmie Pie. This song was so relevant because we do indeed leave the music playing low at night, and my daughter believes that Emilye and her friends come down to dance to the music when night falls and humans go to rest. I appreciate her thinking of Emilye at this time of battle against the monster of cancer. I truly enjoy this song and hope you guys enjoy it too.
