The Restaurant at Rowayton Seafood is a beloved coastal Connecticut waterfront dining establishment. Nestled in a turn of the century gray shingled house on the banks of the Five Mile River in Rowayton, CT, The Restaurant is a popular destination for locals, boaters and diners seeking out spectacular views, authentic seafood cuisine and a warm, friendly atmosphere. und, however, we are closed on Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, and New Year’s Day. We are open all day for New Year’s Eve. We serve a price fixe option for New Year’s Eve Dinner, which includes a few decadent courses. The deck is open, weather permitting, from April to November. Deck weekday service hours are from 5pm to 10pm, weekend hours 11:30am to 10pm. Boat docking is available if you call ahead and book it. Our wine list is outstanding. We serve lunch and dinner 7 days a week and Brunch on Sundays.

Before Rowayton Seafood became what it is today, this spot was a beloved hamburger restaurant owned by James and Esther Flynn for more than 20 years.

In 1978, Kevin Conroy and his partner Steve Cook purchased the Rowayton Lobster Co-op next door and converted it into a wholesale and retail fish market. Then in 1996, the restaurant property was purchased—and Rowayton Seafood was born.
