My favorite feedback from the Chocolate Peanut Butter Pie Cake Slices was hearing over and over that they were rich and flavorful without being too sweet — exactly the balance I was hoping for. 🥹

Lemon Bar, but make it cake. 🍋💛

Bright lemon cake baked over a buttery shortbread cookie crust, layered with tangy lemon curd and finished with smooth vanilla buttercream.

I originally made this one for my own birthday because it was exactly what I wanted — and after tasting it, I’m officially keeping the vanilla buttercream. It gives the tart lemon curd the perfect balance without making the whole cake overly sweet.

Yes, I made my own birthday cake. 😂🍋 And no, it’s not because no one offered — my mom absolutely did a thousand times. I just genuinely wanted THIS cake.

Pumpkin Spice Crumb Coffee Cake has officially returned to the Jaybird Bakes seasonal menu. 🎃

Soft, warmly spiced cake topped with a generous layer of buttery crumb—because the crumb topping should never be an afterthought.

The first one of the season went out last weekend, and it felt like the perfect way to welcome fall baking back to the Jaybird kitchen.

Celebration Cakes offer a more streamlined alternative to a fully custom design while still giving you plenty of delicious ways to make the cake feel special. Choose your size and cake flavor and I’ll create something made for your celebration.
