There are some people who become such a part of a place that it’s hard to imagine it without them. For more than four years, Cristina has been one of those people at Gracious Plenty. She’s not just an incredible line cook. She’s been a friend, a mentor, a constant source of laughter, and one of the hearts of our restaurant. Every morning, she walks through our doors with a smile on her face, ready to work hard and take care of the people around her. If you’ve ever heard someone singing in the kitchen, you already know Cristina.
Over the years, she’s become family. She’s watched Conner and Jasmin grow their family, celebrated milestones with us, carried us through busy weekends, and been a steady presence through so many seasons of life. The memories we’ve made with her go far beyond the walls of the kitchen.
The truth is, Gracious Plenty won’t be the same without her. The culture she helped build, the example she set, and the love she poured into this place will stay with us long after her last shift. While we’re excited for her next chapter, saying goodbye is incredibly hard. We are so thankful for every early morning, every song, every laugh, every lesson, and every moment we’ve shared.
