When a mysterious VR helmet finds its way onto the doorstep of Shawn Crow’s retro game shop, his once normal life suddenly becomes anything but.
Struggling to cope with some impactful changes in his life, Shawn seeks comfort from the one thing that’s always made him feel safe, video games. Though unlike anything he’s ever seen before, this VR game is technologically advanced, blurring the lines of what’s real and what’s not. Real dangers threaten Shawn, both inside and out of the game, as he fights his way through what feels like a never-ending nightmare. Shawn’s mind and body are pushed to their limits as he maneuvers through the game’s challenges.
His love of video games and his anxiety around personal difficulties in his life drive him to play the game for the first time. But something else entirely keeps him playing.
Shawn must fight through his deepest fears to free his mind of this haunting game.
